Overview: Innovations in Sports Science is committed to the broad dissemination of research in sports and physical education. As an open-access journal, we ensure that all published articles are freely accessible immediately upon publication. To support the costs associated with peer review management, journal production, online hosting, and archiving, we charge an Article Processing Charge (APC).

APC Structure
APCs vary according to the author's location, and demographics.
The fees are as follows:

Authors from India: ₹5,000/-
Authors from South Asia (excluding India): ₹8,000/-
Authors from the rest of the world: ₹10,000/-

Women authors from anywhere in the world: ₹5,000/-

These charges are only applicable if the manuscript is accepted after peer review. No submission fees are required.

Waiver Policy
We offer a waiver policy for authors from low-income countries and for researchers without access to funding. Waiver requests must be submitted at the time of manuscript submission and are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. To request a waiver or discount, please contact the editorial office prior to submission.

Payment Procedure
If the manuscript is accepted, the corresponding author will receive an invoice detailing the APC amount due. Payment must be made prior to publication. We accept payments via UPI, bank transfer and credit card.

APC Funding
Authors are advised to consult with their institutions or research funders to determine if APC funding is available, as many grants and institutions provide funds specifically for open-access publication fees.
